The Hu Shi Guang Art Eco Site is in Longyou, Zhejiang Province. It is dedicated to empowering the youth and enhancing their skills in a deeper direction, building, enriching, and sharing with the local villages. The local art unit also establishes strong connections with the nearby coastal villages, spreading art through the region. As a result, the villagers are able to gain a better understanding of the art and its significance. • In response to this space Chinese Artist Li Qing has converted a typical water pump house, often found along the Qu River, into a semi-open pavilion. This space is for people to stop and take in their surroundings. Visitors enter the pavilion through a corridor and then are able to view the scenery of the day through the pavilion's shape and original windows. This creates a unique temporal and spatial experience for anyone who visits. • At the beginning of the project, UAP was tasked with transforming the artist's soft oil paintings into permanent materials using hard metal. After several discussions with the client, the Shanghai Curatorial team decided to digitalise the original image to ensure the sense of oil painting and match the processing properties of metal.
