After a converging press motion, I will generally move to a machine press or Smith machine. I focus on getting a really good stretch at the bottom and being in full control of the weight at all times. • This will limit the amount of weight you can use - remember building muscle is not about lifting heavy weights no matter what anyone tells you! The amount of weight you move is subject to your strength.
