Why? • I seem to be addicted to historical fiction so when I started to listen to yet another Philippa greggorys books , I wasn't very impressed, thinking it would be another of the same ilk. I was wrong, I couldn't stop listening to it. It is passionate and so well written and even though I know my history I was still left wondering what would happen next • Who was your favorite character and why? • It is so easy to identify with all the characters I can't have a favourite • What does Bianca Amato bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you had only read the book? • Her voice is hypnotic and delicate and lends itself well to this kind of book • I can't think of a better narrator for it • Fantastic • I loved the whole book. What an insight into the lives of these three women.... I'm so sad I've finished the book!,, • outstanding story • an excellent story narrated with passion. i was captivated by both. i highly recommend this. • quite good • it was a good story but got fed up with the poor me all the time . • Amazing insight into history • such a well known story told from a different perspective. leaves you wanting to follow the history onwards with the wider perspective through Henry's reign onwards into Elizabeths rule
