I received a request to play an improvisation on Psalm 42:5 ('But the Lord will give deliverance'). Here it is, recorded on the large Van den Heuvel organ in the Nieuwe Kerk in Katwijk aan Zee (NL) on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. In this toccata, the connection to the Toccata from Widor’s 5th Symphony is clearly audible. :-) • *** • Ik kreeg een verzoek om een improvisatie te spelen over Psalm 42 : 5 ('Maar de Heer zal uitkomst geven'). Bij deze dan, opgenomen op het grote Van den Heuvel orgel in de Nieuwe kerk te Katwijk aan Zee (NL) op dinsdag 8 oktober 2024.
