This trip down memory lane shows an iPod Classic - the one with the click wheel. • Although there were iPod minis, Nanos shuffles and touches and this iPod Classic dates from 2008. • Even today it has style and performance - something more appealing in many ways when compared to streaming from a mobile phone. • In a world of streaming and touchscreens, these little bricks provided music anywhere, but there was no wireless connectivity - syncing required a lead, and yes do you remember that large 30 way connector. • Steam music to your headphones or use an iPod dock to play it through a better speaker. • The sound quality, the physical connection...nothing beats the simplicity and joy of this classic. • The iPod was first introduced in 2001 because all the other MP3 players were large, had a small memory and were not easy to use. The iPod was introduced to solve these issues and it took the market by storm. • Sadly the demise of the iPod came.
