Installing Delta Shower Trim Kit on Multichoice Mixing Valve Body

This is the Dryden Monitor 17 Series Trim Kit. You can call Delta for a better description of what distinguishes the 17 series vs others. But for this video, the important note is the use of the Delta Multichoice Valve Body. • This Trim Kit: http://amzn.to/2vJVjjo • We wanted to go with a trim kit that allowed us to set a desired temp, and then still be able to turn water on and off without having to reset the temp all the time. So that got us two valve handles. We chose the square pattern trim plates and shower heads just as a style we liked. • Delta makes this very user friendly with the multichoice valve body. You can rough in the valve body as we did here, months ago, and then take some time picking your trim kit as the project evolves. It also let's you easily change out trim kits later if you choose without having to replace the whole mixing valve assembly. • Install is very straightforward as shown in this video. Just be advised, the directions will have some duplicate information to satisfy other trim kits too.
