Join Dan and I on an historical walk around the ruins of Goodrich Castle near Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire which was built during Norman rule and once served as a fortress on the English-Welsh border, controlling an area between Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye. Dan climbs up the towers and down into the dungeon and we see the beautiful stained glass windows and restoration work going on in the Medieval chapel. We then learn the part Roaring Meg played in the downfall of one of the finest castles in the land! • Music: Folk Round by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/... • Source: http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-... • Artist: http://incompetech.com/ • Additional music: A Baroque Letter @AudioLibraryEN stock audio and Time Ships (intro) @clipchampcom stock audio • If you enjoy my content, please consider supporting my channel by tipping me a tea or a coffee - thanks so much! https://paypal.me/catevans63 • My websites are: https://catevans.com and https://catherineevans63 • Instagram: catherineevans63
