Leveling a Home using a Water Level

How to use a WATER level when leveling a Prefabricated or Mobile home, from underneath the home in a limited crawl space area. • *NOTE: within the video I mention that the piers should be above the “water line”, this may be interpreted or leave the impression that there could be flowing or standing water, this is not the case. I have never seen any flowing or standing water underneath the home, what I should clarify is that the soil gets saturated with water and gets damp, as such the piers shouldn’t be in contact with the soil, and I consider this to be the “water line”. • I mention in the video to install extra additional wolmanized treated platforms to raise the piers out of the water line (damp saturated soil) since the original installers buried some of these wood platforms into the soil which left the steel framed piers in contact with the soil. The soil would get saturated/damp and over time degrade the piers.
