Strategic Preparedness: NAMCOR's Successful Annual Marine Tanker Jetty Drill! • • NAMCOR's successfully conducted its Annual Marine Tanker Jetty offshore Industrial Drill, held in collaboration with esteemed partners: Namport, Namibian Navy, Namibian Police Services, Walvis Bay Municipality Traffic Department, and Walvis Bay Fire Brigade. On December 1, 2023, the drill unfolded at the NAMCOR offshore Tanker Jetty, focusing on a comprehensive offshore emergency response procedure. This encompassed critical aspects such as firefighting, evacuation, as well as search and rescue operations. The primary goal was to evaluate and elevate the preparedness and efficiency of all participating entities, particularly in addressing potential emergencies, including fires at the Tanker Jetty or along the 7km fuel pipeline. This exercise exemplifies our commitment to safety and operational excellence. These collaborative efforts underscore our dedication to maintaining the highest standards in emergency response protocols.
