This WORLD'S best mashed potato recipe is inspired by Joel Robuchon, 32 Michelin Star - most awarded chef in the world, titled Chef of the Century . I show you exactly how to create these perfectly silky, unbelievably buttery mashed potatoes, that once you've tried you will crave and never forget them. In France he uses ' la ratte' potato variety that has a unique nutty flavour and smooth buttery texture. I'm using an organic Yukon gold variety and adapted the recipe to come a close as possible. Pass through food mill into a medium pot. • Over low heat, while potatoes are steaming, add butter in batches and stir with wooden spoon. Add the desired amount of milk and whisk until smooth.
