In this video I show you how I permanently disabled the car alarm on my 2001 Honda Civic 2 door coupe. It was an old Prestige alarm system. I am not claiming by any means to be an auto expert. Just trying to help; it took me a while to source the info to do this, there was bits and pieces scattered all over the interweb.. The alarm was pretty much old and useless so I was better off disabling it. Hope this helps you.
