Let the truth bomb sink in, lol. • Being Christian does not make you... perfect . • For those of us who have chosen to follow Jesus, we are still prone to sickness, sin and life, lifing at us. • There's not some special immunity that a believer has to life and the imperfections thereof. • Trust me, it would be nice if there were. • So, where does that leave us? What advantage is there then to following Jesus if there are no perfections to be obtained in the here and now? • What we have, as Jesus followers...are His many promises! • 1 Corinthians 1:20 in the Amplified Bible says this: • 20 For as many as are the promises of God, in Christ they are [all answered] “Yes.” So through Him we say our “Amen” to the glory of God. • So, we may not have perfection in this life...but I'd take God's guaranteed promises over perfections, any day of the week! • How about you? • Promise over perfection...what are your thoughts? • P.S.
