BlackBerry launched Evolve and Evolve X smartphones in India

Optiemus Infracom on Thursday launched two new BlackBerry smartphones in India. BlackBerry Evolve and Evolve X smartphones feature a full touchscreen display unlike the recently launched Key2 which has a physical QWERTY keyboard. BlackBerry Evolve X is priced at Rs 34,990, while Evolve will retail at Rs 24,990. Evolve X and Evolve come with security and privacy features like other BlackBerry smartphones. The company says that facial recognition on the phones is also encrypted. Both phones also come pre-installed with BlackBerry’s DTEK security app. The full touchscreen displays on Evolve X and Evolve smartphones are protected with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
