Hello everyone!! Today, I am going to show you how I made my stand, and the beginning stages of setting up my new 7.2 gallon tank! • If you are new to my channel and like my content, consider subscribing to follow my content! • Materials List: • Lumber (sorry if you are metric, I have no idea how other countries sell lumber!): • (2) 8 ft long 2x4's • (2) 8 ft long 2x2's • (1) 8 ft long 1x4 • Total Cost for Lumber: $35.00 • Screws: • Box of 3 inch wood screws was $10.00 • Stain and Sealant: • Minwax Water based stain Espresso was $8.00 • Polyurethane sealant was $10.00 • Cotton Rags were $2.00 • Instructions: • 1. Cut 2x4's into (4) pieces at 14.5 inches, and (4) pieces at 17.5 inches. Use these to construct two squares, these will be the base and the top of the stand. • 2. Cut 2x2's into 30 inch lengths, these are the legs and they are screwed into the inside corner of each square. • 3. Cut the 1x4's into (5) 17.5 inch pieces, screw these to the top frame. • All pieces are attached with at least two screws. To stain, follow instructions on the can, and make sure to do it in a ventilated area (not indoors like I stupidly did the first time!) • -- Follow My Instagram! -- • / jc.aqua • Music: • Warm Water - Underbelly • Edison - Cxdy
