This is an amazing, almost futuristic kick drum pedal that feels fantastic under the feet and makes for a great kick drum sound. • If you have never checked out a Direct Drive kick drum pedal then I suggest you really should. Direct drive pedals have a direct link between the footboard and the beater assembly which takes away the need for a traditional cam. There is absolutely no lag time from when the beater hits the drum head to when the pedal goes back to it original position. • This DW Direct Drive Pedal is machined from solid aluminum and comes with a lot of fantastic features. It has a perforated solid-aluminum footboard with a contoured heel plate and an interlocking Delta hinge.
