More Celebrity News ►► http://bit.ly/SubClevverNews • By now you probably know that the 21-year-old Jacob is from Australia, and that he’s been dating his Kissing Booth co-star Joey King since they met on the set of the film, but there’s a lot more to know about this talented actor with abs of steel... • When it comes to his acting career, it turns out that Jacob’s first time performing for an audience was in a production of Seussical the Musical. According to Jacob, he played The Cat in the Hat. How freaking adorable is that?! • On the more professional side of his acting career, Jacob got his start as an extra in Pirates of the Caribbean when he was 17 years old. He told Just Jared QUOTE, “My first film gig was as an extra in Pirates Of The Caribbean when I was 17. True story, look for a tall guy in a red coat.” • And as for his acting heroes, Jacob counts Marlon Brando, James Dean, and Heath Ledger as some of his role models growing up. That makes total sense, because Jacob has a lot in common with all three late actors: He’s gorgeous, insanely talented, slightly mysterious, has a hugely bright smile, and he’s an Aussie like Heath. • As for some way more random facts, Jacob has a recurring nightmare that sounds like it needs some major decoding. He explained QUOTE, “I have a recurring nightmare that features a slim rabbit in a dinner suit. Not Donnie Darko-esque.” Well that’s good because the Donnie Darko rabbit is absolutely TERRIFYING looking, but is anyone a dream interpreter who can help Jacob out? There’s gotta be some kind of symbolism to that slim, well-dressed rabbit. Or maybe his subconscious is telling him to voice Bugs Bunny in a reboot? • And if you’re wondering how Jacob got his abs slash every muscle in his body to be perfectly toned, one way he’s NOT doing it: cooked vegetables. The actor admits that he absolutely HATES cooked veggies, which means he’s probably taking a leaf out of his nightmare bunny’s book and eating lots of raw carrots. • Another fact about Jacob you might’ve already guessed from stalking him on Instagram, is he’s a crazy talented photographer. He’s shared a few beautiful shots of girlfriend Joey King, including a stunning black and white photo of her standing in a field of flowers, and one from The Kissing Booth set where the lighting is a neon pink dream. Jacob clearly has a great eye so watch out, Cole Sprouse, because there’s another actor slash photographer in town. • And last but not least, one aspect of Jacob’s character Noah in the Kissing Booth that made him too dreamy to handle was his motorcycle riding skills. And it turns out that was NO stunt double. Jacob learned to ride a motorcycles specifically for the film, and he enjoyed it so much that he has QUOTE, “been obsessed since”. He even joked to Just Jared QUOTE, “mum, if you’re reading this… I’m buying a motorbike.” • Somehow I have a feeling Jacob’s mom might not approve -- but then again, Jacob has an incredibly close relationship with his mom, so maybe she will!
