Prior to the Venture series, a hunter or outdoorsman was limited to using the smaller Icon Pro series packs like the Icon Pro 1850. Capable of carrying a lot of weight with the modular and removable suspension system, it was price prohibitive to a lot of people with over $250 price point. • Kuiu released the Venture series of day packs that are lower cost and still carry a good amount of weight, but fit better for an everyday pack. • I've loved carrying the Venture 1800 as an everyday work and travel pack, and also for it's intended use, as a backcountry daypack. It may be the most feature rich day pack I've used to date.
