I really like the material. It is very durable and resists water better than a plain fabric garment. It is even resistant to dog hair, Bonus! It is surprisingly warm considering it is very thin. When you turn on the vest it can get really hot. I like that it is thin, because I can wear it under a rain jacket without it feeling bulky. My only real complaint is that it has the battery holder that doesn't display the battery condition, so you have no idea how much longer your vest will run. I wear this thing all the time now.
