In this video, Papa Tone gives some long-ish explanations of what he chose to print and why in the first few weeks of owning a Flashforge Adventurer 4 3d printer. • Tl;dw - the Adventurer 4 is very easy to use for someone who is relatively new to fabrication. • To start, I ordered PLA filament from Flashforge. I have not tried other brands or filament materials yet. • Generally, I only print one object at a time. I don't like the strings and wisps that are created when the printer moves back and forth between larger prints. Smaller objects, like greeblies do work in small groupings. For large models that have multiple parts, I break them up into separate files using the void/group setting in Tinkercad. • Basic printer/slicer settings I usually use: • Extruder Temperature: 215°C • Platform Temperature: 45°C, 55°C, or 65°C, depending on shop ambient temperature. • Layer Height: 0.15 • Base Print Speed: 60mm/s • Enable Raft: Yes • Check out CrafsMan @SteadyCraftin, or here on YouTube: • / @thecrafsman • Papa Tone is Antony Tony Teofilo. • 2022
