Day 146 - 150 • After a dreamy time on the Gili islands it was time to head to the mainland of Lombok. Described by many as the quieter untouched version of Bali, we were excited to see this part of Indonesia. We were blown away instantly by how calm and relaxed it is compared to Bali. It is very rich in culture with stunning coastlines, rolling mountains, endless waterfalls, temples and rice terraces. We also have to mention the kindness and welcoming nature of the locals. • 1: Our little jungle trek to waterfalls in Bayan. There’s actually a secret waterslide underneath this bridge 🛝 • 2: Rice, Corn and Peanut farms, so much green in Lombok 🌾 • 3: Sendang Gile Waterfall 💦 • 4: Treking to our next waterfall, seeing monkeys, fruit trees and all sorts 🥾 • 5: Tiu Kelep Waterfall 💦 • 6: Angel Emma 😇 • 7: Mount Rinjani. The second highest volcano in Indonesia 🌋 • 8: Only in Asia would they transport a scooter on top of another scooter 🏍️ • 9: Another day another waterfall adventure, the lovely Benang Stokel 💦 • 10: Smiles 😆 • 11: Benang Kelambu Waterfall 💦 • 12: Emma taking a waterfall shower 🚿 • 13: We visited some traditional Sasak villages and learnt all about the weaving industry of Lombok. According to the local women we spoke to, you can’t marry until you can weave. • 14: Emma jumped at the chance to have a go, and the locals claimed she had the skills and now she was ready for marriage…🫢 • #Lombok #Sengiggi #Waterfall #Indonesia #travel
