On Earth, gravity gives weight to physical objects, and the Moon's gravity causes the ocean tides. A force that attracts a body towards the centre of the earth, or towards any other physical body having mass. A force is needed to change the speed or the direction of motion of an object. Also an object when dropped from a height it falls towards the earth. Also all the planets go around the Sun. The moon goes around the earth. In all these cases, there is some force acting on the objects, the planets and on the moon. Isaac Newton discovered that this is the same force is responsible for all these.
