Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Demco 50 degree A-Frame trailer coupler. This is going to bolt onto your 50 degree A-Frame trailer. It's gonna provide the connection point to hook your trailer up to a 2 5/16 inch hitch ball on your tow vehicle. This does feature the easy latch mechanism that's going to provide a corrosion-proof composite latch handle that will ensure a simple, secure hookup and disconnect. And so I do have a hitch ball here to demonstrate how this is gonna work. • • It's going to be very, very simple. Rather than having to lift up to disengage, you can leave that handle closed and then just set your trailer down on the ball. It's going to snap into place like so and then it's nice and solid connection there. To remove, you just lift up the latch there and it will disengage for you. So very simple to get hooked up anytime you're wanting to pull your trailer. • • This is made here in the U.S.A. of a heavy duty steel construction. It's gonna provide a 21,000 pound weight capacity. It also has a durable zinc plating that's gonna offer corrosion resistance. That has a 200 hour salt spray rating, so it will hold up well for you for a long time to come. • • This does also have this cutout in the top plate here that's going to fit with your 2 1/4 inch diameter outer tubes on your jack. So, and you can get your jack easily installed on your trailer as well. And you can see down here we do also have the safety chain mounts that are welded to the bottom of the unit to provide that place for your safety chains. And this has a 5/16 inch diameter lock pin hole. So the lock is not included but you can pass a lock through there and make sure that everything stays secure. • • No one can come along and pick off, take your trailer off your hitch ball there. You will need a lock with a three-inch span to fit in there to make sure that it's gonna work properly and keep everything secure for you. Our overall length from the back portion here all the way up to the front, we're looking about 17 and 5/8 of an inch. To get this installed you will need 3/8 inch diameter by 1 3/4 inch long grade five bolts. Those are not included but that will be required to get this bolted onto your trailer. Being able to bolt this on is gonna make it much easier to get installed than having to do any welding. So great option here if you're looking to put a new coupler on your trailer. So that completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
