In this video we discuss the law of equipartition of energy. It is taken in this video that monoatomic gas should have three components of its translational energy and in case of diatomic molecule,two more energies can be added related to rotation of the molecule.The average energy contribution of each degree of freedom is 1/2 KT.The quantities like Cp.
