Eventually the male Presa Canario started trying to mount Winston and Winston started spinning around and communicating 'no, back off,' and the female Presa came in from the side (flanking him) and mounted him. • Winston showed how uncomfortable he was by stiffening up, pinning his ears, back and showing the white of his eyes, so I snapped my fingers and broke their concentration and got Winston to come closer to me. • In my experience, the best thing a human can do, when dogs are showing unstable signs of anxiety, or dominance with other dogs, is to interrupt their train of thought by snapping, clapping, whistling or talking to them, and guiding them towards you, and away from the stimulus. • *This channel exists in order to educate people about dog behavior at dog parks.
