Welcome game jammers! We have created a short video guide on how to submit a game to itch.io! • How to create an itch.io account: • Guide to itch io game jam submissions • Go to https://itch.io/register • Fill in the blanks • That's it! • How to join a game jam: • Guide to itch io game jam submissions • Go to your game jam using a provided link OR find it on the game jams list at https://itch.io/jams • Click on the Join Jam button • How to create a game's page (from the game jam page): • Guide to itch io game jam submissions • After joining the jam, click on Submit Your Project button • In the popup, click Upload Game • Fill out the required text fields and dropdowns • Click Save at the bottom • It's not yet public, but you can now edit it at any time • How to submit a game: • Guide to itch io game jam submissions • Upload your game to your game's page • For a Downloadable game, zip your project and include the exe and any required files or folders • For a Web game, zip the project and make sure it has an index.html in the zip • For a Tabletop game, upload a print-and-playable PDF, including all rules, tiles, cards, etc. that will need to be printed in order to play • Change the project to Public and save • If it doesn't automatically submit, return to the Game Jam's page and Submit Project again • Use the dropdown to find your public published game and click submit • Congratulations! You've submitted your game to a game jam! Check out the other games, and enjoy the company of your fellow jammers. You've earned it!
