Part 5 of 5 videos - 5x8 Cargo Trailer camper conversion - Awning Install completion. • This video shows the welding of three mounts that will be attached to a single channel of aluminum. This mounts into the the steal frame on the side. It is vary strong, and could actually support a solar shower as well. The awning is popular on ebay, and the awning that came was actually pretty good quality. The bollts and brackets are stainless and the cloth is good quality. There is some issue with quality control. All the parts were there, but the awning was mounted upside down. It had to be flipped. It might be a trick for some. It is not really hard to flip. I will upload a loose ends video of helpful information in future videos. • After installing the awning, and finishing the last minute details, the camper got put to the test. Comments are welcome, along with suggestions. This was youtube inspired and the camper is not really done. The leaf that slides out with the camping toilet works well.
