Plugable 800X USB Microscope

Thanks to Josh from Plugable for making this video possible. • In this, I check out 'quickly' the 800X USB Microscope from Plugable Technologies. • Its an inverted microscope design, with both digital and optical viewing options, and can also be battery powered. The microscope is easy to use, straight out of the box, though there seems to be some USB conflicts for trying to capture the 1600x1200 resolution images. • I find that without having a means of controlling the light intensity (since the digital camera portion is auto-adjusting constantly), you probably lose the ability to get possibly cleaner/crisper images. Of course, its a balancing act between extra cost to functionality. • Overall, a solid 7.5 to 8/10 for this microscope, definitely usable, and will be looking forward to using this as my daughter is older to see little things she might be interested in. • Product Link: http://plugable.com/products/usb2-mic... • Thanks for checking out the video, and until next time, Happy Clacking!
