Making an appearance on High Charity, we pursue the Prophet of Truth in the tenth campaign mission for Halo 2. • Witnessing the Solemn Penance's glassing beam charging up, the Master Chief dives into the lake, escaping its glassing bombardment following the assassination of Regret. Now, helplessly wrapped in tentacles, the Chief finds himself captured within an underground location by a massive, parasitic form known as the Gravemind. Moments later, the Arbiter appears, struggling against the creature's tentacles, and comes face-to-face with the Spartan responsible for Installation 04's destruction and the Prophet of Regret's death. • The near-omniscient creature takes over, revealing Halo's purpose, which heavily contrasts the Covenant's belief that activating the rings would lead to transcendence. In disbelief, the Arbiter finds himself at odds with this testimony. No matter, the Gravemind sends the Arbiter and the Spartan to separate locations to find the Index and stop the firing of Delta Halo. • Welcome to the tenth mission in my Halo 2: Anniversary Legendary Guide!
