Danielle and Hairo • • • • • Monteverde cloud forest is found at an altitude range of 4,000 to 6220 feet above sea level. • Temperatures range from the 50s to the 70s with an average temperature around 64°F. • There is also always a strong wind and a chill in the air so if you brought a long sleeve shirt or sweater and long pants you will want to wear them while you’re visiting this area. The wise advice to layer your clothing is especially good advice here as you will probably be doing lots of trekking so once you build up a sweat you can peel down a layer or two until you are comfortable again.
