Once you modify the servo, it makes a great high torque gear motor that you can connect directly to your microcontroller with no motor driver required. • You will need: • An MG995 Servo • Soldering iron, solder and sponge • Needlenose pliers and diagonal pliers. • Small phillips and flathead screwdrivers. • Two 2.2K ohm resistors • Electrical tape • At the end of the video, I test the servo with an Arduino. You will need some similar method to test your hacked servo.
