How to insert batteries in RIE (Receiver-in-the-Ear) hearing aids- Mini RIE and RIE • Step 1. Remove the packaging and protective foil from the new battery. Wait for two minutes while the battery activates. • • Step 2. Open the battery door completely using your fingernail. Remove the old battery if present. • • Step 3. Insert the new battery into the battery door with the positive (+) side correctly positioned facing upwards. • Step 4. Always insert the battery directly in the battery door, never in the hearing aid. • Step 5.
