Jaromir Jagr is a former professional ice hockey player from the Czech Republic, widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time. Born on February 15, 1972, Jagr began his career in his home country before being drafted fifth overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft.
