Walksnail VRX antenna modification

Sharing a walkthrough on how I did my custom antenna modification on a 5 day old Walksnail VRX. I opted for hdzero style front plate to accommodate rail mounted crosshair antenna. I customized a rail mount for the x2-air since the one that came with the x2-air is designed for Hdzero VRX4, which is a little narrower. In addition to this, this modified Walksnail VRX now has four sma ports for whatever antenna preferred, not using the internal patches anymore. • Note that I have Ant1 port for one of the x2-air's, which will work for my kind of flying since I'm flying fixed wing, mostly long range. Anyway, you can easily swap antenna as desired. The modification process is completely reversible, if you want to go back to stock. • the modification used 4pcs SMA to U.fl(ipex1) 10cm • ====================== • IMPORTANT NOTE: • It would be better to use the same antenna type on ant 1 and ant 2 pair; also with ant 3 and ant 4 pair.
