Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band wins 2024 European Championship in Perth

Large crowds and perfect weather endorsed this spacious green space beside the River Tay an ideal venue. The pipe band competitions were combined with the Perth Highland Games. The event was organised by Perth Highland Games, Perth and Kinross Council and the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association. • Pipe bands from all over the world took part in the competitions. The Grade One competition attracted 12 entries. This was a March, Strathspey and Reel contest. Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band from Northern Ireland was the overall winner.
