In the world of movies, January is a month typically reserved for the box office bombs and the latest horror franchise reboot. This year, Netflix is upsetting that trend with their impressive stop motion anthology film, The House. • The House is delightfully weird. It's also creepy and uncanny, tapping into an uneasy nerve. In my view, it has many attributes of the films of David Lynch and thus I've described it as being Lynchian. • If you haven't yet seen Netflix's The House, I highly recommend it! Although we're only a few weeks in, I think The House has a legitimate shot at cracking my top ten list for 2022! • The House was written by Edna Walsh and directed by Paloma Baeza, Emma De Swaef, Niki Lindroth von Bahr and Marc Jacobs Roels. • The House also boasts some major vocal starpower, including but certaintly not limited to Helena Bonham-Carter, Mia Goth, Will Sharpe and Paul Kaye. • The Laptop I use to create these videos: https://amzn.to/3AMQS9h • The Microphone I use to record my audio: https://amzn.to/3wREjsj • Affiliate Disclaimer: As an Amazon associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
