This third movement depicts the tranquil setting of the Janiculum Hill at nighttime, the moon shining above. A wondrous tapestry of sound by the piano (which this soundfont is somewhat ill-equipped to replicate) introduces this piece, and it reappears later in the movement as well (4:34). • The movement's most infamous detail, and one that caused much derision or confusion from quite a few of its first listeners, was the first use of a recording incorporated into the orchestra. In this case, the recording of a nightingale singing was instructed to be played near the conclusion (5:03). • Of course, I took the liberty of getting a little creative at this key moment. If you've played this game before, you'll hear some familiar sounds... • Pines of Rome • III. Pines of the Janiculum • Composer: Ottorino Respighi • Soundfont: The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask • I.
