I've slowed down Canon 6 a bit and playing it on the Esquire 9 String makes it sound like there's a bit of reverb on it from the octave strings. This was fun to play! I'm not quite achieving perfection, but it still feels like the piece is flowing. Definitely one to consider in a live set. • More practice with the motorik beat today. I am starting to wonder what chords could work. I also tried losening things up a bit to see how playing scalar lines would feel against the pattern. Still some work to be done there... • am still not sure what some of this single-note plyaing could lead to. Maybe somewhere new? Right now I am trying to not focus too much on detection and to just let the gates stay wide open and see what neutrino s of music ideas flow through. This Motorik pattern is really coming together though. I feel like I have an ok handle on what it is and now need to find a proper idea to use it for.
