Spring is on its way! The black butterfly and orange/white butterfly are males, and the red butterfly they're chasing is the female. In goldfish spawning, the males chase the female while bumping and nudging her. When she releases her eggs, the males release their milt to fertilize the eggs. There is also a male veiltail telescope in this tank, but he wasn't interested in spawning at all.
