Streamlight TLR-2 G Review - http://www.gunsholstersandgear.com/20... Updated video with daylight conditions:    • Streamlight TLR 2G review update   • The new TLR-2 G from Streamlight is a combination white light/green laser unit that mounts on your firearm's accessory rail. The user can select between laser only, light only, or laser and light and has the choice of momentary on, constant on and strobe modes. • The new weapon light is extremely bright: 200 lumens. This makes it great for clearing rooms or other tactical situations that an armed citizen or police officer may find themselves in. • The laser is green, not the more common red laser. Green lasers are much easier for the human eye to see, and unlike most red lasers, they are daylight visible. Not being able to see them in daylight is one of the major drawbacks to red lasers, so this is a welcome addition to the shooting world. • A nice feature of the TLR-2 G as compared to other TLR models is Streamlight moved the laser emitting diode closer to the bore of the firearm. The laser is actually shooting through a small hole in the flashlight's reflector. This means there will be less variation between aim and shot placement when the laser is sighted in. • I tested this unit's temp range by tossing it in the deep freezer for 30 minutes. I took it out to the range on my Smith Wesson M P9. I did some building clearing practice with it. It performed well everywhere except the intense cold. It seems that green lasers are more susceptible to temp extremes, so the TLR-2 G has a low-end, recommended temperature of 32 degrees (Fahrenheit). The deep freeze did have a temporary negative effect on the unit and I talk about that in the review. • Just a quick warning - I shot this video at dusk to try and give you a better idea of how the white light works, and that the laser aiming point is still visible with the flashlight turned on. So, the video is a bit grainy. Also, I recently moved my home and office, so my good mics are still packed up. There is some background noise, but nothing too terrible. Even though it is not perfect, I wanted to get this review posted up for you guys to see. • Make sure you go by the website, http://www.gunsholstersandgear.com/ and read the whole Streamlight TLR-2 G review. I've got plenty of detail photos and much more information on this unit.
