Alex: We had some scrap pieces of pine wood left over from panelling the summerhouse/shed. I love watching all the pigeons in the garden, and seeing that we have some young ones I thought I'd make them a little birdhouse! • 🛠️ 🧰 I didn't have any plans, I just did everything by eye. You can see the basic shape. 🧰 🛠️ • I matched the front and back shapes, then matched each side using a set square. Then I screwed them together. I used waterproof glue between the tongued/groove boards to add extra stability - it was Gorilla glue, but any non-soluable glue will do. • We had a couple of old shelf brackets lying around so instead of using a post for support I used these. Anything that seemed wobbly got an extra cube of wood or some strapping for support, then Kate painted it with the old waterproof wood stain we found in the cellar. • The pigeons enjoy climbing all over it, but no interest in nesting yet! • 🎵Thanks for the music:🎵 • • City Walk | Film | Strange Weird | ... • Wondershare stock music
