This video is intended for students in the common core of Geology, or any other interested public (high school students for example). It explains in a very simple way how to identify the fossils belonging to the Trilobites (animals of the Invertebrate type, of the phylum Arthropoda). A captioned diagram is commented, and several examples of significant specimens are presented. Trilobites are important stratigraphic fossils that lived during the Paleozoic. • The audio commentary is complemented by written comments that provide more details. • This video was put online as part of the 2nd year Paleontology practical work of the STU License at the University of Guelma in Algeria (Teacher: Ms. Ruault-Djerrab). • For more details on sedimentary geology, consult the site: http://djerrab-geologie-guelma.e-mons... • (you will find courses to download, exercises...) • To see all the photos featured in my videos (and more), check out my new photo site: https://adjerrab.wixsite.com/photo-ge...
