Tired of playing with dirty, tarnished piano pedals? Let's fix them! ✨ • You'll need metal polish that's safe to use on your pedals (like Brasso), paper towel, masking/painter's tape, and a timer. For severe tarnishing, you'll also need superfine steel wool (#0000). • 1️⃣ Start by taping around the pedals to keep the felt clean around each pedal. Slide a dropcloth or piece of cardboard under the pedals to keep the floor clean. • 2️⃣ Shake the polish, then apply a generous amount to the pedals. Spread it in an even layer with paper towel and let it stand for 2 minutes. • 3️⃣ Gently rub the polish into the pedals to remove the tarnish. (For severe tarnish, use the superfine steel wool instead of paper towel.) Repeat step 2 if needed. • 4️⃣ Buff to a sheen with more paper towel. Remove the tape and clean up the mess. • 5️⃣ Enjoy clean, shiny piano pedals! • 🔴 SUBSCRIBE and CLICK THE BELL 🔔 for notifications so you don't miss any new videos! / @pianowithemma • ❓ Have a question?
