How to Clean Leather

So I think it’s good to know how to take care of it, because I think we’re all going to be wearing a lot of it. Always read the care instructions. I know that hurts a lot of us, but they’re on the label inside the jacket. If you have anything in leather, generally a good leather cleaner is good to have on hand in case you get anything on it. If you have patent leather, you’re just going to use a mild soap and water and a soft cloth. That should be pretty easy. A lot of patent leather coming in this season. Now, if you have something that you really, really love and you’ve had it for a long time and maybe it needs some help in the leather department. Maybe you got a spot on it. Then you can get a little more involved with oil and vinegar. Not for your salad, for your leather. What you’re going to do, is you’re going to take a soft cloth, clean cloth. You’re going to put oil on it, rub it on the stain until the stain starts releasing. Take another cloth, do the same thing with the white vinegar. Take another cloth, combine them both and do it again. You can also take the combination of oil and vinegar and use it to condition the jacket.
