How to Setup a Chinese Water Dragon Enclosure. • I hope this video was informational and helpful to all of you viewing. Chinese water dragons certainly are not the easiest lizard to setup and maintain. But if you're able to provide for their complex needs, they can be just as rewarding as any other reptile. • I do want to take a moment here in the comments regarding my tone in regards to using fish tanks . I want to emphasize that I am not hating on fish tanks, in fact I have used fish tanks for MANY other species of reptiles with great success. What I am specifically stating is that when it comes to a housing method FOR Chinese water dragons, fish tanks are the worst method of housing for the species. As I said, I'm not saying glass terrarium based housing is bad overall as there are plenty of reptiles that thrive in glass terraria, however in regards to Chinese water dragons. A screen top and all glass fish tank is truly a death trap for the species and should be avoided at all costs. • Overall I tried to make this video as simple and easy to understand, but as we all know. There is no easy when it comes to Chinese water dragons.
