DIY White Cane • MATERIALS NEEDED: • 1 wooden dowel (painted white) • Black electrical tape • String (we used a thin black sting) • Red Duct Tape • Air-Dry Molding Clay • Hot glue gun • INSTRUCTIONS: (you can do this in any order but glue the dried clay ball on LAST) • Assemble cane with black tape and string on the top and red duct tape on the bottom. • Roll the clay into a small ball with the molding clay. • Once you’ve made a ball use the dowl to create a hole about halfway through. • Set aside clay ball aside and wait for it to dry. • Once the clay ball is dry, add hot glue in the hole and insert your now COMPLETED dowel into the hole. • Wait until glue dries to use. • To learn more about the importance of play and inclusive and adaptive toys, check out our blog! https://www.ccvi.org/visionblog/the-m...
