Custom Leather Guitar Strap

My niece recently got her first acoustic guitar, so I thought I’d make her a custom leather strap for it. To customize it, I lasered her initials onto the strap and then incorporated a backup guitar pick holder onto it as well. To avoid the risk of scratching the guitar, I went with a design that doesn’t require any hardware. The strap basically has two pieces where you weave the smaller one through a bunch of slots punched out of the larger piece. You can also adjust the length by utilizing the different available slots. Finally, I added a quick release piece at the end that can wrap around the headstock if the guitar doesn’t have two strap buttons.
