Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources Director Nicole Rissler provides an update on the status of beach parks on Sarasota County's barrier islands. All beach parks, including Siesta Beach, remain closed until further notice as efforts continue to restore access for residents and utilities to the area. While some parks may appear ready for use, others still require significant work.
