First, check the expiration date. Remove the pregnancy test cap to expose the tip. Place the tip downward in your urine stream for five seconds. Or collect a sample of your urine in a container, and dip your pregnancy test in for five seconds. The digital pregnancy test should display a yes+ or no- response in three minutes. The rapid results test should display a result in one minute, and the early results pregnancy test in three minutes. Both non-digital tests will display a single vertical line if you're not pregnant.
