Fill the pasta sleeves with ricotta cheese and you have the beginnings of a meal. • ►Subscribe for more videos: https://www.youtube.com/cookinginnanc... • FOLLOW NANCI ORDER FROM HER BAKERY • ►FaceBook: / nancisbakeshop • ►Instagram: / nancisbakeshoppe • ►Tumblr: / www • ►Twitter: / nancisbakeshopp • #CINHK #CookingInNancisHomeKitchen #NancisBakeShoppe • ▼MANICOTTI RECIPE▼ • ==================== • Ingredients: • •1 pot boiling water • •3 tablespoons salt • •2 tablespoons olive oil • •14 manicotti shells • •32 ounces tomato sauce • •8 cups ricotta cheese filling (see How to Make Ravioli) • •2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese • Directions: • •Preheat an oven to 375 degrees. • •Boil a pot of water. • •Add the salt and olive oil to the water. • •Boil the manicotti shells for 8 minutes, or until al dente. • •Drain the cooked manicotti and allow to cool. • •Spread some tomato sauce over the bottom of a casserole dish to form a thin layer. • •Fill the manicotti shells with the ricotta cheese filling (I fill a pastry bag and pipe the filling in.) and lay, but do not stack, the filled shells in the casserole dish. • •Cover the manicotti with the rest of the tomato sauce. • •Cover the manicotti with the shredded mozzarella cheese. • •Bake in a 375 degree oven for 20 minutes. • •Let rest for at least 5 minutes before serving.
