Stan Reisler is Sublimating a Baby Bib with a collage. • The Images used are 300DPI Quality to insure a crisp clear image after Sublimating on to the Baby Bib. • The Baby Bib measures 10 x 13 and is Sheard Micro Velour made from 100% Polyester on the Sublimation side. The reverse side is made from 100% Cotton Terry Cloth Loops to help with clean ups. • The Bibs are from ConeyIslandTransfer.com and great for photographs as well as graphics. • The Printer used is a SawGrass SG800 with Authentic SawGrass Sublimation Dye/ink. • The Baby Bib was Sublimated using 405 Degrees Fahrenheit for 45 seconds using light to medium pressure. • On the Stage of the Heat Press I use white uncoated butcher paper to protect the bottom cushion of our heat press. We then Lay the Baby Bib down and Lint roll it to get any cuttings or shavings left behind from manufacturing the Baby Bib. After lint rolling make sure the nap is laying flat to accept the sublimation dye perfectly. Next take your printed image and at arms length lightly mist the printed image with Repositionable Adhesive to make sure the image does not shift or move when you close the heat press. With the image face up on the stage of your heat press position the Baby Bib within the boundaries of your printed template. Now carefully turn over the printed template with Baby Bib attached and lay flat on your stage and cover with a second fresh piece of butcher paper. Carefully close you heat press that is set to 405F for 45 seconds using light to medium pressure. When the timer goes of carefully open your heat press and remove the butcher paper and printed template and throw both away. you should never reuse your butcher paper as it has leftover dye that can migrate onto your next project and ruin it. • The Baby Bibs can be purchased from Coney Island Transfer ... • https://coneyislandtransfer.com/produ... • For learning Sublimation imprinting please join Sublimation More!
